Stephan Wurzinger | Managing Director
Stephan has been in the meetings and events industry for 14 years, during which time he started his own conference business in Dubai and was Managing Director for two other events companies in South Africa and Singapore, leading teams of over 100 professionals. Stephan has had a very international career prior to joining MCI and is a hands-on leader who is personally involved in the entire product flow to ensure that clients’ expectations are met every time. He has worked for three years with MCI at a management level, driving association business development in Asia Pacific and Canada. In addition to his role as Managing Director of MCI Australia, Stephan also works closely with Asia-Pacific association leaders to grow membership and conferences as Director, Association Relations, Asia Pacific.
Suzanne Best | Director People & Culture
Suzanne is responsible for developing and implementing MCI Australia’s human resources strategy ensuring each member of our team upholds MCI’s core values and has the opportunity to develop his or her career within the company. She represents the MCI Institute in Australia and oversees the company’s WH&S and CSR portfolios as well. Suzanne’s own experience spans over 30 years with MCI Australia’s founding company and covers roles in operations, general management, public relations, administration and HR. Her operations ability and business acumen have been recognised with awards from Meetings & Events Australia and selection as a finalist for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
Jan Shaw | Director Operations
Jan is responsible for developing and implementing MCI Australia’s operational policies and procedures and ensuring MCI’s clients receive a consistent experience regardless of where their event is held. Over her 20+ year career with the company, Jan has twice been awarded the Meetings & Events Australia National Award for Meetings Manager of the Year along with numerous awards for managing Australia’s best large and small meetings.
Lisa Grant | Director Finance
Lisa manages MCI Australia’s finances and our client events’ finances, ensuring adherence to Australian standards. She has over 10 years’ experience with MCI Australia’s founding company and has gained valuable experience across guest services and client and company accounts, providing Lisa with superior corporate governance and attention to detail.
David Addison | Director Corporate Division
David is responsible for managing MCI Australia’s Corporate sector, including the creation and management of corporate events, incentives and product launches. His professional background includes a corporate career in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and Australia, Asia Pacific Manager for a US based NGO and Managing Director of a corporate event management company. David’s involvement in creating incentive programs and events is backed by solid experience covering all aspects of research, development, sales, marketing and corporate management as well as implementation.
