Ray is Australia’s longest serving accredited meetings manager – 37 years’ organising spectacularly successful meetings and event. His enthusiasm in constantly setting and raising service standards is evidenced by our team’s receipt of more than 50 State and National Awards for Excellence. He has been instrumental in introducing complex project management methodology to PCO processes to deliver better outcomes. He is also an accredited IT Journalist, a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a member of MCI’s Managing Director’s Board.

Suzanne Best, BBus Comn, BA, AFMEA
Director Administration & Human Resources
Suzanne is responsible for developing and implementing MCI Australia’s human resources strategy ensuring each member of our team upholds MCI’s core values and has the opportunity to develop his or her career within the company. Suzanne’s own experience spans 28 years with MCI Australia’s founding company and covers roles in operations, general management, public relations, administration and HR. Her operations ability and business acumen have been recognised with awards from Meetings & Events Australia and selection as a finalist for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year.

Jan Shaw, BA Grad Cert WEP, AMM
Director Operations & Development
Jan is responsible for developing and implementing MCI Australia’s operational and training policies and procedures and ensuring MCI’s clients receive a consistent experience regardless of where their event is held. Over her 18 year career with the company, Jan’s has twice been awarded the Meetings & Events Australia National Award for Meetings Manager of the Year along with numerous awards for managing Australia’s best large and small meetings.

Lisa Grant, BBus
Director Finance & Procurement
Lisa manages MCI Australia’s and our client event finances ensuring adherence to Australian standards. She is also responsible for managing MCI Australia’s prequalified supplier contracts and providing QA over procurement. Her 10 year history with MCI Australia’s founding company has seen Lisa gain valuable experience across guest services, client and company accounts providing Lisa with superior corporate governance and attention to detail.

David Addison, AMM BSc Hons
Director, Meetings & Events (M&E)
David is responsible for managing MCI Australia’s M&E sector, including the creation and management of corporate events, incentives and product launches. His professional background includes a corporate career in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and Australia, Asia Pacific Manager for a US based NGO and Managing Director of Avanti Events, (which merged with MCI in 2011). David’s involvement in creating incentive programs and events is backed by solid experience covering all aspects of research & development, sales & marketing and corporate management as well as implementation.
