The first international political meeting to meet criteria for sustainable event management

With clear examples and specific measured data, the COP15 Event Sustainability Report sets a new standard for the meetings industry.  The most comprehensive document of its kind, the report is among the first event reports ever to integrate measurement factors which comply with the Global Reporting Initiative. COP15 was the first United Nations event whose management ‘system’ achieved certification with the BS8901 standard for sustainable events.  As the selected PCO and sustainability guide, MCI was responsible for providing guidance for BS8901 compliance and served as authors of the report.
