A flexible, umbrella framework to integrate sustainability into events and organizations

Informed by the United Nations’ COP15 conference in Copenhagen, the CSMP provides clear example for event planners to understand the strategic value of integrating sustainability into their meetings for bottom line success.  The CSMP is an advanced level guide to organizing sustainable meetings.  It provides guidance for corporate, governmental and association event organizers, as well for managers of large venues and hotels. It is designed to be used in conjunction with The COP15 Event Sustainability Report which provides in-depth details of the COP15 sustainability approach, initiatives and performance.  MCI, a founding partner of the Copenhagen Sustainable Meetings Coalition, was also selected to serve as project manager for the development and launch of the protocol.  With input and comment from coalition members, MCI is author and designer of the CSMP document..
