MCI Mid-Year Review
MCI's financial results, global expansion, enhanced service offering and awards in 2011
Geneva, Switzerland – 23rd May 2011
MCI announces strong financial results for business year ending December 31st 2010.
MCI’s gross margin continued to improve in 2010, reaching 80 million euro. A 13% increase compared to 2009, it represents an almost even spilt across Corporate and Institutional clients and is attributed to global acquisitions (5%) and organic growth mainly in the Asia-Pacific region (8%). Business operated by MCI offices outside of Europe representing over 350 employees, will count for more than 25% of the total gross margin in 2011, when organic growth is predicted to be 18%. Additional funding arising from an 8 million euro equity investment from Iris Capital will be used to reinforce MCI’s position in key growth markets and add new service lines in 2011.
