Sébastien Tondeur Wins Entrepreneur Award

CEO of MCI Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011

Zurich, 28 October 2011, Sébastien Tondeur was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year is renowned for recognizing successful entrepreneurs who, thanks to their personal commitment and willingness to take risks, are making a contribution towards strengthening the Swiss economy.

This year, the Entrepreneur of the Year prize was awarded in four categories. An independent jury assessed key factors such as the candidates’ accomplishments as entrepreneurs, their business development, innovation, leadership and future sustainability. Sébastien Tondeur was awarded the honour in the category of Trade/Services for achievements in his role as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of MCI Group Holding SA. Today, MCI helps organize over 3,100 events worldwide per year and represents a truly global organization inspired by the motto: “When people come together, magic happens.”
