Your Mission
Working as part of a highly motivated Continued Education (CE) team (based in the USA and Europe), the Programme Manager is responsible for the development and successful delivery of high quality content for (educational / networking) programmes and activity. With circa five to six events across Europe per annum, the Programme Manager devises and researches themes with respective Programme Steering Committees, sources and secures speakers and is responsible for the overall integrity of the Conference and Training Course activity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Programme Manager:
- Content: working closely with the European Education Advisor and Steering Committees, devise and research key topics, identify and secure speakers and other contributors of the highest calibre (including live case studies), to address the agreed themes.
- Planning: planning of designated Conference and Training events, including liaising with speakers to ensure high standards of delivery in line with agreed themes. Maintain an up-to-date plan of each activity (event). This is not the logistics of an event as we have an Events Manager.
- Strategy: develop and agree with the VP of Education, global CE team and Steering Committees the annual Education plan including the schedule of activities (seminars, conferences and training courses), key themes and content, ensuring alignment with the overall Continued Education strategy as approved by the Executive Committee and International Board.
- Budgeting: in collaboration with the Operations Director and Conference Manager calculate and agree the annual budget for the Continued Education direct costs and manage expenditure in line with the agreed parameters
- Marketing: work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to achieve marketing goals for Continued Education activities, providing content on programme themes and speakers
- Event Management: working with the Conference Manager, ensure high standards of event management, overseeing the execution of programmes and monitoring delegate feedback
2.Administrative Duties:
As part of a dedicated team the Continued Education/Programme Manager role includes minor administrative tasks supporting the overall Europe team.
