Membership Services Administrator

Your Mission

The Membership Services Administrator plays a key role in providing customer service support for one or more assigned client Associations. This includes directing the entire membership process in Asia Pacific from recruitment and retention, record maintenance and invoicing to developing and implementing membership-marketing campaigns using direct mail and/or telemarketing.

Essential Responsibilities

· Manage membership applications, renewals and publication orders

· Process and reconcile financial transactions

· Facilitate certification processes

· Resolve member inquiries and concerns

· Provide statistical reports as required

· Work with an Association Management System database

· Build mailings lists for membership drives or other mass mailings

· Conduct regular audit of information in membership database

· Conduct surveys, evaluations and needs assessments

Your Profile

Candidate Profile:

  • Well rounded individuals with a good diploma or degrees
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the non-profit, NGO, association sector or customer service environment
  • Experience within the service sector is always a plus and the ability to adapt to changing needs and demands of key stakeholders/membership is important.
  • Quick, efficient and accurate in all administrative duties
  • Ability to speak Asian languages would be key assets
  • Great customer service mindset and proactive disposition
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential as success is dependent upon developing positive relationships and communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders related to the association
  • Well developed organisational and leadership skills
  • Database management experience is beneficial
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
