Robin has driven MCI's expansion outside Europe since 2007. Under his leadership, the company has experienced impressive growth in Asia Pacific, India, the Americas and the Middle East and Africa and today serves an increasing number of clients from more than 30 offices abroad. from Europe.
As a member of the MCI Executive Committee, Robin is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of an international group with offices in all corners of the world. He also leads the company's Institutional Division, serving clients of the association and the government, and is responsible for the strategic development of services for these markets.
On a day-to-day basis, Robin consults with associations on strategic planning, board assessment and global growth strategies, speaks at international business events and works with several industry-leading organizations at the forefront of knowledge exchange.
Robin has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the MPI Belgian Chapter 2005 Planner of the Year award and the 6 International Meetings Industry Person of the Year at AIME Melbourne. He served on the MPI Foundation Board of Directors and was also the first non-American member of the ASAE Board of Directors - the Association Leadership Center and the president of the ASAE Foundation from 2010 to 2011.
Directly after completing his master's degree in business science, Robin founded GIC Management in 1991, which became Europe's leading full-service association management company and merged with the MCI Group in August 2003.
