Growing up in Zurich in the 1960s, Roger Tondeur is a perfect example of a man who achieved his true career calling and is still fascinated by new opportunities.
After spending time abroad, in the early 1980s he returned to Switzerland with his young family and commenced his career working for a major travel agency. There he gained expertise in congress organization and developed his leadership skills. It was during that period he conceived the idea of creating MCI. He made it the project of his life to transform MCI from a small start-up into a multinational leader in the meetings and events industry.
MCI was founded in 1987 with the vision of creating strong connections between people and places. With his leadership and business skills the company has grown rapidly, offering organisations across the globe, strategic engagement and activation solutions to build experiences with impactful and memorable conferences, congresses, meetings, events and incentive programmes.
