MCI Appoints New Member to Advisory Board
Geneva, Switzerland – 8th June, 2012. MCI is pleased to announce that Christine Duffy has been appointed to MCI’s Advisory Board of Directors, effective today.
Current President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cruise Lines International Association, the international cruise industry’s largest trade and travel agency association, Christine served six years as President and CEO of Maritz Travel Company. In addition to her CLIA responsibilities, Christine serves on the executive committee of the U.S. Travel Association (USTA) and the Board of Directors for Visit Florida and on the foundation board for Meetings Professionals International. Christine is an active supporter of women in the industry and founder of MPI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. Corporate Meetings and Incentives chose her as one of the “Top 10 Women Leaders in the Meeting Industry” and Meetings News magazine named her one of the “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry” four times.

Christine joins MCI at an exciting time of growth.
