MCI: Growth for first half 2015 results
Improved Profitability, Focus on Digital Services and USA Expansion Set to Generate Double Digit Growth
Geneva, 16 September 2015. MCI is releasing its half year financial results for 2015, indicating that the global meetings and events group is on track to achieve double digit growth this year.
MCI First Half 2015 Results
The first half 2015 gross margin results were 77 million CHF, which is an increase of 8 million CHF, up 12% compared to end of June 2014 – based on the same foreign exchange rate. The operating margin is in line with expectations for the year that aim for a double digit growth.
Over the past 12 months, the group has focused on ramping up its digital and technical services that now represent over 22% of total revenue. With the integration in the first semester of the group’s USA acquisitions, the Americas region will grow 3 times year-on-year to represent 15% of total group revenues.
