MCI solidified its leading position within the American region by;
- merging with Coulter Companies and rebranding them as MCI USA
- launching Black Flower Agency, a division in New York that focuses on luxury brands
As a result of this, the Americas region tripled in size to reach 20 million in gross margin. The ambition is for further expansion in the Americas and development in new digital and technology driven services.
The group enhanced its worldwide reach with additional office openings and further acquisitions in Macau, Istanbul, Toronto, Rio & Sao Paulo, Washington and New York, resulting in MCI’s global presence of 60 offices across 31 countries.
In 2015, MCI worked with 85 of the Fortune 500 companies and many of the world’s leading associations, delivering 5,100 projects worldwide. Amongst some of the exciting and innovative programmes, saw MCI working with the EU to create a dynamic Pavilion experience for 20 million onsite and 1 billion on-line visitors at the Milan Expo.
MCI were also called upon to deliver an extraordinary experience for the 3,266 guests of the Longines Masters, a leading equestrian event with 50,000 spectator event.
Additionally, MCI worked on numerous high end experiential events for the luxury market including Chanel, Gucci, Patek Phillippe and Cartier.
MCI is proud to renew global working agreements with Jeunesse and Huawei, amongst other prominent clients in technology and software, consumer goods and pharmaceutical and life sciences.
Also 2015 brought renewed core PCO and repeat associations’ mandates from Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS), Urological Association of Asia (UAA), European Hematology Association (EHA), ERTICO (ITS Europe) and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
Further key milestones which are a testimony to MCI’s focus on delivering excellence for their clients include;
- being awarded the Best Business Events Agency title by Asia’s leading corporate events publication, CEI Asia
- partnering with Expedia to expand event accommodation options for its clients
- forming a partnership link with Emirates to become one of their official partners
