Our tech client wanted to host a seasonal holiday celebration for 200 team members and also wanted to have the event curated for partners and families that would be at home. The event was to be broadcast on MS Teams and include suitable entertainment and engagement for all attendees. A gift was to be sent to all households.
The key element here was having key MS stakeholders join from their home office environment and have all entertainment produced live from a live studio. We decided to host the event at Dublin Bar Academy as it gave us a range of spaces where we could set up each entertainment piece with great backgrounds, lighting, audio and cameras. By using a live studio space, we took the event from being a mundane video call to a live television broadcast.
The gifting included a Spiced Mojito Kit, Gingerbread houses & decorations, festive scented diffuser, partywear, chocolates and goodies and a handwritten Christmas card. Each item was linked to the live show to ensure engagement and interaction.
The strong event identity and digital communications plan ensured a full event attendance. The personalisation of gifts delivered a unique thrill for each attendee and the linking of entertainment to the physical gifts ensured that people were actively involved.
