Diverse. With the number of offices and countries it is truly one of the benefits we have. We quickly realize and adapt that working internationally that things are not always the same as in our local office. We have the advantage of having offices in many countries who can help & advise. As well, with repeat clients who use MCI globally we often share our previous experiences with the other offices, from proposals to client preferences, etc. which clients definitely notice.
I was on a site inspection with a DMC in Denver & found out that a colleague from Geneva was also working with them and in fact was arriving that afternoon. So we got an unplanned opportunity to catch up and discuss the “N” client, too. The world is big, yet for us, it seemed small for that moment. That kind of sums up MCI.
I am proud that MCI is recognized throughout our industry as a leader, and that I am part of it. There is recognition of this brand worldwide already and we are intent on making ourselves as well known in Canada & the Americas as we are in Europe & Asia.
Attending the MCI Academy gave me a whole new perspective. The training was excellent but the connections made were invaluable. So many fellow talents that I had only ever emailed before were there, and I met others with whom I have collaborated with since. It was reassuring to realize that the successes (and challenges) in other offices were not that different and that together we could support each other in finding solutions.
