Before being appointed CEO in 2010, Sebastien played an active role in the company for more than 10 years, starting as a Project Coordinator, operating meetings and events in Switzerland. After 3 years as Project Director, leading the company's global deployment, he became CEO of the Corporate Division. In this role, he was responsible for product development, marketing, sales and global account management strategies, as well as for thought leadership in purchasing and live communication. In 2011, Sebastien was recognized with the EY Switzerland Entrepreneur of the Year award for his dedication to MCI and his strategic growth.
Sebastien is driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and firmly believes in the power of face-to-face interactions to build communities, inspire and promote change. Leading MCI during the 4th Industrial Revolution, he embraces innovative ideas as a beacon that brings people together and gives them a purpose.
Thanks to his entrepreneurial and creative spirit, he is considered a driving force in today's meetings and events sector and holds influential positions in many organizations in the sector. He speaks regularly at international events and is frequently interviewed by the business and marketing media for information on how to build a global, human-centered business.
Sebastien has an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, USA. When he is not working alongside his MCI team, he spends time with his family and enjoys hiking and hiking in the mountains - he even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
