Vice President, Association Solutions

Kevin Baliozian serves as Vice President of Association Solutions for MCI USA’s Chicago location. He is a go-to expert in engaging association volunteer and staff leaders to forge a bold path to success through value creation, innovation, change management, volunteer engagement, and efficient operational excellence.

Kevin also serves as Executive Director of the Medical Library Association (MLA). He joined MLA in January 2015 to set MLA on a course for transformation, ensure its long-term sustainability, and improve its relevance to members and the profession. He successfully stewarded the MLA Board of Directors in its decision to select MCI USA as MLA’s managing partner starting January 1, 2019.

His experience in nonprofit management began in 2005 as European Director of the Armenian General Benevolent Union, a nonprofit with chapters in 27 countries. From 2008 to 2014, he served as Executive Director for multiple professional organizations at SmithBucklin’s Chicago headquarters. Kevin started his career in the family high-tech photography lighting business — in international sales, product development, manufacturing, and eventually as CEO.

Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in math (computer science) and physics from Amherst College and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
