Job Objective:
Research and develop new client business to support the overall business development for the Performance Improvement department in Singapore. As a role of the “hunter”, you need to have a strong new business development skill, be comfortable with meeting potential clients, establishing relationships and closing the deal. You must work towards contributing to the achievement of the financial goals and growth of the department

This role reports to Assistant Director of Performance Improvement. You will also provide monthly reporting of sales activities and accountability to the Director & Regional Director of Corporate Division.


Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Relationship Management
  • Develop, generate, and grow new digital performance improvement (loyalty marketing) business by creating innovative online marketing sales plans.
  • Understand client ecosystems and business models to uncover opportunities and craft relevant digital solutions for client’s needs.
  • Proactively create strategic plans and self-start drive for clients while being seen as a technology subject matter expert that clients can rely on for solutions, industry trends, best practices, and expertise.
  • Provide digital solutions guidance and recommendations to new clients to assist with their implementation of their channel marketing programs.
  • Promote digital and hybrid contemporary marketing solutions for clients and their partners/channels/audiences.
  • Advocate the value proposition of technology platforms to enhance benefits that clients can gain from mobility-focused strategy.
  • Generate consistent and progressive appointments to visit prospects/clients and build relationships.
  • Build and maintain on-going relationships to create opportunities for MCI’s suite of digital and hybrid services
  • Provide effective service to internal and external clients
Project Management
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities within client portfolio through new technology, digital solutions, product integration, best practices, regional expansion, marketing penetration, promotions, or other strategic priorities.
  • Identify industry trends and developments
  • Present MCI and our services to new prospects/clients to obtain meetings through developing and implementing sales calls
  • Implement attentive follow-up process to convert proposals into confirmed business contracts and close them
  • Develop growth within existing accounts in cooperation with Account Managers
Financial Management
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue targets
  • Maximise and deliver gross margins
  • Managing client budget negotiations and supplier cost-savings efforts
Adminstration & IT
  • Writing business proposals for client solutions and services within Singapore and Asia Pacific region
  • Curating specific proposals according to client’s digital or conventional needs
  • Manage IT support provided by technology providers wherever online/virtual systems are required
  • Reviewing client contracts

Job Requirements
  • Well rounded individuals with business or marketing degree. Understanding both contemporary and conventional marketing processes prove to be suitable educational backgrounds for this role.
  • Familiarity with contemporary technology and digital marketing solutions. 
  • Relevant experience in channel sales, business development or relationship management with e-solutions
  • A track record in consultative sales skills is a prerequisite. Additionally, a background in digital marketing, incentives rewards, and recognition solutions would be an advantage.
  • Superior verbal, written communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Able to present well, have an engaging personality and passionate on problem solving using digital, analogue and hybrid solutions.
  • Able to walk into any setting and initiate a conversation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while demonstrating excellent time management skills. 
  • Attention to detail and able to work autonomously without direct supervision.
  • Great customer mindset and proactive disposition.
  • Have an energetic, target driven sales mindset.
  • Able to conduct research, drawing information from a variety of sources and analyse research findings to develop concept plans & strategies.
  • Able to evaluate at a strategic level and set budgets.
  • Able to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or other relevant digital tools to create and deliver winning proposals.
Specific Technical Skills
  • Good knowledge of technology systems and processes including web development, digital solutions, virtual presentations,   and hybrid experiences.
