Recently, the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) found itself at a crossroads and hired MCI USA to help it figure out where to go. Our collaboration began with an organization-wide diagnostic review and culminated in a search process for GBTA’s new executive director. It was a deeply rewarding experience for MCI USA and GBTA alike.
But when you do good work like this, sometimes it’s best to let someone else talk about it. Here is how the global travel press covered our consulting engagement for GBTA:
“GBTA Retains MCI USA to Undertake Comprehensive Organizational and Operations Review,” Global Travel Media: “MCI USA is best-in-class when it comes to analyzing nonprofit, member-driven associations like GBTA. We’ve retained them to look at every aspect of what we do, from the role of the board to operations, staffing and human resources, IT, event management, and marketing.” FULL STORY
“What’s Next for GBTA?” Business Travel News: “MCI USA specializes in consulting for nonprofit associations, like a Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, or some of those other great consultancies that you find on the corporate side. The board felt, based on what had transpired this past year, it was time to get a fresh look at the organization, [with perspective] on our operations and best practices.” FULL STORY
“Suzanne Neufang Named Executive Director of GBTA,”ftnNEWS: “The months-long process was led by an independent search committee of industry leaders and staff. The search was coordinated by leading association consulting firm MCIUSA, which served as a third-party hub to screen applicants and facilitate the extensive interview process.” FULL STORY
