Head of Global Hotel Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Jodie Torriani is MCI’s Head of Global Procurement spearheading the group’s global procurement and strategic sourcing activities reporting to the Executive Board. She is responsible for MCI’s largest spend category with an annual spend of over 450 million and 2.7 million room nights contracted.

She is responsible for MCI’s largest spend category with an annual spend of over 450 million and 2.7 million room nights contracted. Jodie has implemented several improvement programs and established a new procurement model that will increase efficiency and optimize cost. She is directly responsible for all supplier negotiations and strategic supplier relationship management. She has launched a group wide new reporting process for data collection and redesigned MCI’s distribution channel software for hotel sales. Day-to-day, Jodie leads procurement process, contractual policy and a range of procurement and sourcing departments across offices. Jodie oversees the procurement and sourcing across all of the industries MCI serves: corporate, sports, luxury, ICT, FMCG, association, and healthcare & life sciences.  She has 15 years plus of experience in hospitality and event management working for MCI.

Jodie is certified in revenue management and leads MCI’s learning and development on hotel procurement, distribution, revenue management and contractual policy.
