In 2017, FIVB chose Paris to celebrate the power of Volleyball for its 70th anniversary, following a year which featured the highly successful volleyball and beach volleyball events during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Moving beyond the celebration, FIVB wanted to seize the opportunity to announce the launch of a new Volleyball Nations League, set to begin in 2018.
For the very first time, the FIVB, will take complete control of content production, maximising quality and promoting a compelling, on-court narrative, which is easy for fans to engage with and understand. A league that will present volleyball in a way that has never been experienced before, pushing the boundaries of technology, innovation and digital broadcasting, and bring the action closer to fans around the world.

By utilising the venue to the fullest, implementing the brand event identity, developing a ‘brandable’ digital platform, creating video content, designing audio-visual production and managing the overall logistics of the event, MCI France provided FIVB with support in order to start writing new fantastic pages of the Volleyball history.
