One of MCI’s major long-term healthcare clients was facing the challenge of additional budget cuts and pressure to save money year-on-year. This client needed to organise a high volume of meetings per year, with face-to-face meetings the preferred format due to confidentiality and networking.
MCI approached a key hotel chain and set up a workshop with yield managers to determine lowest yields throughout the year. We created a calendar of availabilities in key properties across Europe and regularly informed the client of available locations - and at what reduced cost - during low yield periods.
